MineVinyl is operated by fordz0 (“we”, “us”, “our”). The website is accessible at minevinyl.com. For privacy-related enquiries, contact us at hello@minevinyl.com.

Audio files: Files you upload for conversion are processed entirely in your browser using WebAssembly. They are never transmitted to our servers and are discarded from memory when you close or refresh the page.

Analytics: We use Vercel Speed Insights, which collects anonymised performance metrics (page load times, web vitals). No personally identifiable information is included. See Vercel's Privacy Policy.

Advertising: We display advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google may use cookies and similar technologies to personalise ads based on your browsing history. See Google's Privacy Policy and ad personalisation settings.

Cookies: We set a single first-party cookie (mv_cookie_consent) to remember your cookie preference. No other first-party cookies are set. Google AdSense may set third-party cookies if you have consented to advertising cookies.

Server logs: Our hosting provider (Vercel) retains standard web server logs (IP address, request timestamp, HTTP method, path, response code) for up to 30 days for security and debugging purposes. We do not access these logs in the normal course of operations.

If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA) or United Kingdom, we rely on the following legal bases:

• Legitimate interests — for anonymised analytics that help us improve the tool.
• Consent — for advertising cookies. You may withdraw consent at any time via the cookie banner or by emailing us.
• Legal obligation — for server logs retained by our hosting provider.

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Rectify inaccurate personal data
• Erasure of your personal data (the “right to be forgotten”)
• Restriction of processing
• Data portability

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@minevinyl.com with the subject line “Privacy Request”. We will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in the UK this is the ICO.

We do not retain your uploaded audio files at all — they never leave your device. Your cookie preference is stored in your browser's local storage indefinitely until you clear it or withdraw consent. Server logs are retained for up to 30 days by Vercel.

The following third-party services may process data on your behalf:

• Vercel — hosting and analytics
• Google AdSense — advertising (only active if you have accepted advertising cookies)

MineVinyl is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
